Kathleen Chan, CPA, CA

Known for collaborating with colleagues and partners to find innovative solutions to complicated problems, Kathleen’s work has vastly improved accounting standards, processes, and policies at the Government of Ontario.

As Manager of Accounting Consultation for the Treasury Board Secretariat, Kathleen leads the provision of technical accounting and fiscal management advice on complex transactions and significant new initiatives for the Province. She is a committed advocate for ensuring accuracy and transparency in accounting and building capacity and knowledge within the provincial government.

A dedicated team-builder, Kathleen invests her time in mentoring new CPAs and students while supporting collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environments. She is also an active participant in various mentorship programs within the Office of the Comptroller General and Treasury Board Secretariat, supporting the career development and professional growth of other members of the Ontario Public Service.
