Adrienne O’Neill, FCPA, FCA

When you work with Adrienne, it doesn’t take long to recognize that, even with her many accomplishments, she is destined for greater achievements ahead. She brings a combination of interpersonal skills, fierce intelligence and unshakeable resolve to everything that she does.

Adrienne has been with Manulife for 16 years, rising to the position of Global Controller and Group Chief Accounting Officer at one of the world’s foremost insurance and financial service providers. She has led complex financial transformations, executed enterprise-wide finance programs, and standardized and centralized global accounting functions. Before taking on this role, Adrienne was Global Head of Investor Relations, where she was the Company's primary spokesperson to the investment community. 

Passionate about building up the next generation of CPAs, Adrienne led Manulife’s CPA certification program and taught accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University and CPA Ontario.

Adrienne sits on the Board of Directors for Volunteer Canada, the Canadian Training Institute and the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network. She is also the executive sponsor of Women@Manulife and a member of Women Get On Board.
