Alan Wainer

Having joined Crowe Soberman in 1984, Alan’s leadership roles have included serving on the Management Committee, as partner-in-charge of Education, and as a Human Resources Partner. Throughout his 40-year career, Alan was known for his trustworthiness and reliability, always dedicated to his clients’ best interests, and blending professionalism with a personal touch. Retired in 2021, Alan remains a seasoned consultant in Crowe Soberman’s Audit & Advisory Group. He is passionate about developing the next generation of CPAs and mentored three of the firm’s current audit partners prior to his retirement.

Alan embraces Isadore Sharp’s philosophy of ethical business practices and true value creation. His commitment to community, education and heritage is evident through his volunteer roles with the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, The Abraham Global Peace Initiative, and Parachute Canada. Alan also volunteers as a reader at the Family Centre at SickKids Hospital.
