Angie Maltese

Angie has over 35 years of experience as a tax professional. Her career has taken her around the world from Toronto to Montreal, London, Brisbane, and back to her hometown of Thunder Bay. Since 2022, Angie has been a tax partner at LCPS Chartered Professional Accountants, focusing on privately held businesses. Previously, Angie held leadership roles with Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek First Nation, Grant Thornton LLP, and EY. A proud alumna of Lakehead University, she served as Chair of its Board of Governors from 2020 to 2022.

Committed to social impact, Angie has served on the boards of the Ontario Arts Council, Magnus Theatre, the Institute of Italian Studies, and Women in Politics. As part of Lakehead University’s Niijii Indigenous Mentorship Program, Angie mentored a high school student from a remote First Nation community and helped him pursue an education and career in accounting, underscoring her dedication to diversity, inclusion and actively supporting the next generation of accounting professionals.
