Atul Chandra, FCPA, FCA 

Originally a chemical engineer from an IIT in India, Atul moved to Canada to pursue his MBA from Queen’s University and made a bold career switch when he joined EY to pursue his CPA. With over 30 years in finance, Atul flourished in leadership roles at RBC Insurance, Tokio Marine, ICICI Bank Canada and, currently, as EVP & CFO of HomeEquity Bank, where he is known as a distinguished, growth-oriented visionary.

Atul’s passion for philanthropy includes his role as Co-Chair, Corporate Committee, AIM for SEVA, which educates underprivileged children in rural India. He has served as a Board Director at Joseph Brant Hospital, Scarborough Hospital and Oakville Hydro Corporation. His volunteerism reflects an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Recognized as one of Canada’s 2023 Best Executives by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business and included in MPA Magazine’s 2021 Mortgage Global 100 list, Atul’s exceptional leadership continues to inspire and drive change.
