Oksana Prociuk, FCPA, FCA
Oksana’s distinguished leadership and dedication have left a lasting impact on both the profession and the Ukrainian Canadian community. Oksana began her career on the audit staff at PwC. She co-founded DeLuca Prociuk Chartered Accountants, one of the first all-female boutique public accounting firms, before becoming the youngest and first female governing committee member of Buduchnist Credit Union (BCU) in 1986.
As General Manager, then CEO and President, from 1989 Oksana transformed the small, local credit union into a major Ontario financial institution with over $1.2 billion in assets, before retiring in 2024. Oksana’s vision also led to the establishment of BCU Financial Group including BCU Wealth Management, BCU Insurance and BCU Foundation, which she championed to create and grow to nearly $50 million in assets.
Oksana’s extensive contributions include volunteer and director roles with the Ukrainian Youth Association, the Ukrainian Canadian Community Centre Foundation, BCU Foundation, the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women, and the Ukrainian Cultural Centre Toronto.
