Renée Pichard, FCPA, FCA

Considered both experienced and influential, Renée is highly respected among her peers for her technical knowledge and collaborative approach. But beyond her practical prowess, Renée is thoughtful, insightful and upholds the highest standards of ethical practice.

After a 17-year tenure in the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, where she held the position of Assistant Auditor General, Renée is now a Partner in Deloitte’s Accounting and Sustainability Reporting Advisory practice. Renée has been contributing to the establishment of accounting standards in Canada and internationally for the past 15 years. She currently represents Canada as a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB), contributing to the development of public sector accounting and sustainability reporting standards.

Her achievements and impact on the CPA community are unanimously felt by those around her. She is regarded as an enthusiastic and action-driven leader, deeply committed to improving accountability, credibility, and transparency in financial reporting.

In addition to her significant professional responsibilities, over the years Renée has provided support to community organizations like CPE Montessori and Helping Other People Everywhere Beach Volleyball Tournament where she served as Treasurer.
