Public Accounting Licence (PAL) Renewal 2021-2022

The 2021–2022 Public Accounting Licence (PAL) renewal application is now open. Renewal applications are due by October 1, 2021.
In alignment with our commitment to digitize the member experience and avoid longstanding payment issues, CPA Ontario will no longer accept batch payments from firms that cover their employees’ PAL renewal fees during the 2021-2022 renewal process. Consequently, each PAL holder will be responsible for paying their renewal fee directly to CPA Ontario through My Portal.
CPA Ontario members engaged in the practice of public accounting and who hold an active PAL must renew on an annual basis. If you do not renew your licence, it will automatically expire effective November 1, 2021.
