Aida Cipolla, FCPA, FCA

A celebrated visionary leader with over 20 years of experience, Aida is a trailblazer in sustainability, advocating for investments in clean technology to support the fight against climate change. She has led many breakthrough initiatives, including the inaugural Nuclear Green Bond and securing funding for Ontario Power Generation’s small modular reactor project.

Aida holds the distinction of being the first woman to hold the title of CFO at Ontario Power Generation and chair the Electricity Canada CFO Committee. In her previous role as CFO at Toronto Hydro, she established a pioneering CPA program to provide young professionals with resources and support to pursue the designation.

Recognized for her commitment to community service and philanthropy, Aida was also named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2020 and as an Honouree in Canada's Top 40 Under 40 in 2019.

Aida wants future CPAs to have confidence, believe in themselves and in the future, and to go out there and make a difference.
