Filipe Dinis, FCPA, FCMA
According to his nominators, “Filipe Dinis is the classic jack of all trades.” But unlike the old adage, he is a master of many. Throughout his years in the public service, Filipe has earned a reputation for professional credibility, collaboration and problem-solving. As COO at the Bank of Canada, he has driven several important projects including the digitization of the Bank and the introduction of Canada’s first vertical bank note, the $10 displaying the portrait of Canadian civil rights icon Viola Desmond.
Filipe is a sought-after speaker at seminars and conferences. Presenting on topics including Innovation, Leadership and Cyber Security, he lends his years of experience to support the growth and development of his fellow CPAs.
Filipe also finds the time to give back to the community as a board member of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He wants future CPAs to be proud of the designation and remember the broader impact that they can make.
