Tom Evans, FCPA, FCMA

Tom’s friends and colleagues describe him as “serious, hard-working, and intelligent” and “with integrity in all of his personal and professional work.” A seasoned corporate director and senior financial executive, Tom’s experience spans over four decades and includes senior roles in organizations as diverse as Canadian Pacific, The Mercantile Bank of Canada, the New York Life Insurance Company of Canada, and the County of Simcoe.

Now retired, Tom remains engaged in the profession through his participation with Financial Executives International, where he served as Chair. Tom was recognized in 2013 with the prestigious Frank S. Capon Distinguished Service Award. His commitment to giving back includes his service on the board of the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario, where he helped create the formula that is now used to maximize the benefit for chapters across the province.   

Tom volunteers for the Roseland Park Country Club and the Probus Club of Burlington, demonstrating his enduring commitment to making a positive impact.
