Fair Registration Practices Reports
The Fair Access to Regulated Professions and Compulsory Trades Act, 2006 (FARPACTA), provides the legislative fair access framework for Ontario’s regulated professions and compulsory trades, collectively referred to here as the Regulated Professions. The Office of the Fairness Commissioner (OFC) was established by the legislative authority provided under FARPACTA to work with the Regulated Professions, to assess their registration practices against the obligations under FARPACTA.
FARPACTA requires each Regulated Profession to prepare a fair registration practices report annually or at such other times as the Fairness Commissioner may specify. These and other reports filed with the Fairness Commissioner can be found below.
