Congratulations to the successful 2024 Common Final Exam (CFE) writers. These individuals represent the next generation of leaders with the expertise and integrity to protect the public and drive our economy. We look forward to seeing their impact.
Convocation is an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of the successful CFE writers reaching a significant milestone on their journey to the CPA designation. The celebration for all successful 2024 CFE writers will be held on May 3, 2025, at the Toronto Congress Centre, North Building.

The CPA Ontario convocation ceremony will be held in-person at the Toronto Congress Centre (North Building), 1020 Martin Grove Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1J1.
Once successful CFE writers and guests arrive, head to the West Lobby Entrance of the North Building, where everyone is required to check-in.
There will be two ceremonies on May 3, 2025. During the registration process, you must select your preferred ceremony time. Attendance will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, as capacity is limited.
Morning ceremony
8:00 a.m. Doors open for check-in
8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Networking breakfast
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Convocation ceremony
Afternoon ceremony
1:30 p.m. Doors open for check-in
1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Networking lunch
3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Convocation ceremony
Business attire, and please note that cap and gowns will not be required or provided at the ceremony.

Attendees must complete the registration form via the link in the convocation invitation email. Once completed you will receive a confirmation email and a link to manage your tickets for you and your guests. Included with those tickets will be the QR code that you will need to show at convocation to check-in.

Each successful CFE writer may bring two guests. There is no charge for CFE writers and their guests to attend, and there will not be an opportunity to “purchase” extra tickets.
Yes. Guests will require tickets to attend the convocation ceremony.
After completing the registration form. CFE writers will receive a link to manage their own tickets and for their guests. These tickets will include the QR code for entry.
It is the successful CFE writer’s responsibility to send the QR codes to their invited guests.
No one under the age of 19 is permitted to attend the Convocation ceremony.
While attendance at Convocation is optional, we highly recommend participating as it provides your only chance to celebrate your success along with your peers. Regrettably, there is no alternative date if you cannot attend.
Light refreshments will be available during the reception from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the registration process you will be able to include any food allergies or dietary restrictions (not preferences), or special requirements at the bottom of the registration page under Special Assistance and Dietary Restrictions.
There will not be a dinner and dance. However, at each ceremony, morning and afternoon, we will have a networking event where light refreshments will be served.
Successful CFE writers will be seated alphabetically by last name. Guest seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
By registering for this event, you consent to the use of any photographs or recordings captured during the ceremony for promotional purposes. The event will be photographed.
Following the event, a recording and photo gallery link will be shared on our site.
The 2025 Convocation is exclusively for successful CFE writers from the year 2024. Due to capacity constraints, we cannot accommodate attendees from previous years.
Honour Roll FAQs
The Honour Roll Celebration will be held at the CPA Ontario office located at 69 Bloor Street East, Toronto, ON M4W 1B3 on Friday, May 2, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m.
Honour roll attendees will be emailed with instructions on how to enter the building and details surrounding the event.
Business attire.
Honour roll recipients are entitled to bring two guests to the celebration. Email [email protected] to request additional guests be added to a waitlist. You will be notified if space becomes available.

Yes, we will have food and refreshments available for all attendees during the event.
We highly encourage you to attend our in-person event. However, if you are unable to join us, there will be no alternate date, and your honour roll certificate will be mailed to you.
